India vs England 3rd Test: India versus England test series is getting more and more interesting and intense after the completion of the 2 Tests. The Scoreline stands 1-0 as India leads the series against the hosts in their home conditions.
The First test was announced as a draw after the rain interruptions on the final day of the test match. The final day of the test match was promised to be a very good day for the Test cricket but the day was spoilt after the interruption of the unwanted guest, rain, and bad light. Both the teams were poised evenly on the final day, but frequent disruptions by the bad light and rain abandoned the day without a ball being bowled.
India won the second test match by 151 runs in the Lord’s Cricket ground to lead the 5 match test series by 1-0. Thanks to some splendid performances from Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami along with Mohammed Siraj. As like the 1st test, the second test also headed to an interesting final day with England needing 272 runs to win the match with 10 wickets in hand. But the Indian bowlers put on an excellent display of fast bowling to dismiss England for 120 runs.
During the second test, there was an exchanging of words between the players, and that created heat ahead of the 3rd test going to be played at Headingley, Leeds. In the meantime, England has suffered from injury concerns and some replacements and squad were announced.
